Because everytime I try to use it the program crashes.

I have same problem. It generates Illegal operation call and crashes.
Anyone knows about some alternative to speedset?

Speedset is only for NTVDM (command prompt) in Win2K/XP. Your best bet is to look at DOS slowdown utilities like MoSlo...

The best alternative to Speedset is DosBox. :)

Agreed, but if (s)he's running Win9x then his/her computer may be too slow to run DOSBox.

Please, do you know some other programs to slow CPU under win98? I've tried Moslo, it haven't worked.
