Just a thank-you for this program took me a few hours and some cussing but i managed to finally "get it" and successfully installed and played a couple scenarios from X-Com TFTD.

The FAQ was very helpful but it failed to mention that one would have to mount both a D and a C drive to play off of a disc...once i figured this out it went much much smoother.

Once again thank you very much for DOSBox 0.63

Well it's pretty logical that you'd need a hard drive and a CD drive. Where do you expect the game to install and save its settings? DOSBOX emulates a real computer, it's not a console rom emulator. If you keep this in mind, most problems just come down to tricking games to thinking it's in a real DOS environment.
