What is the fastest CPU I can use with this Slot-1 Motherboard ?
The manual reads a P3-650mhz. but the manual is old and I think I can put in an even faster P3 CPU ?

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-6bxc ver. 1.9

Chipset - Intel BX440

well its got a clock ratio of 9.5 highest so 9.5 x 100 or 9.5 x 133 is your answer, but will the bios recognise it? you will find out once you try I guess

In case the VRM next to the CPU slot reads HIP6004BCB, with B at the end, then it can supply coppermine-core voltages.

I have the same revision (1.9) of this board and after flashing the newest bios it recognises and runs an 866 MHz Slot 1 Coppermine just fine. It should support everything up to 1.1 GHz (100 MHz FSB) and 1.0 GHz (133 MHz FSB) Coppermines, since their multipliers are locked anyway.

Mine also supports the correct voltage range for Coppermines, but as the user above me pointed out, that's up to the voltage regulator used, so be sure to check that.
