If you want identification, provide photos of usable quality.
Connector is 48 pin, there is a processor with RAM, could be an early SCSI RAID controller.
Like @tayyare, I'm guessing port multiplier (or maybe some basic multi-function role) - I can recognise the large socketed chips top-left as IDT 79R5000 series RISC microprocessors if that helps any.
Any chance of a higher resolution picture of each individual card?
Unless you provide a picture or series of pictures where you can read the board markings or the devices on the board, there's almost no chance of identifying them.

They are both made by DIGIBOARD.
Sorry for the bad photos. I definitely wasn't thinking that I should have posted higher quality ones when I posted them. I ended up finding in small print on the back of one of the cards "Digi Board" which I didn't notice the first time around.
