So im attemtping to connect a floppy drive with a Multi IO card I just got. Went to go connect the floppy drive to the header, however, I noticed, this won't work with my current floppy cable, as the cable has this "missing" pin port blocked up.

So, the header has an "extra" pin, which won't allow the cable to plug in due to this ... (I really hope I'm making sense here)

.... Can I just bend that pin off the header of the FDD on the card?

NM ... fixed it. Apparently the cable has a hole, its just filled in. Poked a hole right in it to allow the pin to go through 🤣

I prefer to remove the offending pins, just have to make absolutely sure that you remove it from the correct row.
