So I have acquired one of these cards:

The attachment Audiowave Platinum 16-cropped.jpg is no longer available

From what I can tell, it is a Multiwave AudioWave Platinum 16 which was also sold under the Edison brand as an Edison Platinum 16 with AISP.
See here for the pic of an Edison branded card:
http://hw.fagear.ru/edison-platinum-16-with-aisp/

Stason doesn't have the jumper settings for this specific card and I have been unable to find the installation manual either.

I guess I could just screw around with the jumpers to find out what works but it would be very helpful to have an actual guide to use.

Drivers are available here:

It has a Jazz16 chipset. Maybe the stock jazz16 software will work. I also have a generic Jazz16 sound card. I think you can find it on vogons drivers. Comes with a DOS setup program, will load a jazz16.sys driver which initializes the card.

Right.. I have access to the drivers. It does have some extra ICs that a stock Jazz16 card doesn't have so I think I probably need to use the drivers that were made for this card for everything to work properly.

I really just need the info on the jumper settings.

Ok, I see you already commented on an older thread mentioning this card: Identification of MediaVision? Jazz MVD1208 ISA sound card

From the looks the jumper near the mike is probably to select mic type. The jumper labeled CDROM and MIDI is for IRQ selection of said ports. The other jumpers are a bit more elusive. The one on the far left maybe to select CDROM type? Did you try the card already?

I haven't tried the card yet. Guessing it will work with the jumpers set as they are but I still want to know what the non-obvious labeled jumpers do.

These two above the jumper labeled CDROM
SEL0
SEL1

These jumpers to the right of the CDROM type jumper near the bottom left of the card:
Starting from left to right:
ENJS - guessing this enables/disables the joystick port
DA1
DA2
ENMPU - guessing this enables/disables the MPU port
MADD
JSDEC

This jumper or connector right above the leftmost CDROM drive connector:
JP8

The ones near the mic do probably select the MIC type.

JP12 below the amp chip... Maybe to select the speaker type (ohms value)?

I got this very card and, and I'm looking for the manual, jumpers settings and the original drivers.
It came jumpered as the OP's card on the photo.
The DOS test program complains that FM chip is not functioning. Maybe jumpers and/or driver issue, however MIDI playback seems to be working in windows.

Reviving the thread again.

https://stason.org/TULARC/pc/sound-cards-mult … UDIOWAVE-P.html has the proper jumper settings.

A little bit of curiosity with the card: The card has very good Sound Blaster Pro support (usual exceptions with ADPCM in games like Duke2/Jill apply), but frustratingly it requires loading a 15k device driver into your CONFIG.SYS as the Sound Blaster Pro emulation appears dependent upon the Windows Sound System subsystem for operation. If you omit the SYS file from your startup, the Sound Blaster Pro emulation will still initialize, however it won't function as intended. Instead, it falls back into mono Sound Blaster 2.0 mode.

That said, the hardware UART MPU401 is very good, and doesn't have the hanging note bug. It even plays nicely alongside an MPU-IPC at 330h given that the Platinum 16 is set to MPU address 320h.
