I recently assembled good platform for retro gaming with Penium 233MMX. All working good, but a week ago I got AMD-K6-2/350AFR processor. I'll tryed run system with this cpu and problem is here.
System calculate RAM memory, then system cyclicaly reboots after this procedure. I tryed diffirient multipliers, frequency start from 166 to 366 - same effect, system reboots after RAM calculations. If I put old 233MMX processor - is working in good order.
My motherboard 5tx2b supports AMD-K6-2 processors (up to 300 mhz). I think, this motherboard is regular Socket 7 (not super), is this a problem ? Or I have some chances to run this processor on 5tx2b board.
Kind Regards.
