Caverns of Kroz 2

Noticed today while going through my games to determine which games had CGA or not that the screen is much brighter in DosBox than NTVDM.

Also to get the correct palette in DosBox for Kroz you have to set machine=cga.

Ignore the text in the red box at the top. It color cycles so that's why the colors are different between the two pictures.

EDIT - Ooops, well guess you can ignore this post since when I went to full-screen in NTVDM for the game the brightness level was the same as DosBox.

Game also runs hella slow in NTVDM full-screen whereas it runs fast in an NTVDM console window. weird.

Also noticed that the game has a red border too that doesn't show up in dosbox. Guess that's another game that would benefit from overscan border.

[nerd]I miss that font sometimes... Reminds me of my 286 with EGA.[/nerd]

I've noticed similar weirdness with NTVDM, which is why I don't use it. I think the OS steals more idle time from NTVDM when it's running full-screen for some reason.
