This just shows how tedious and difficult it is to progress further when you are at a level of remarkable visuals already. The last 2-3% on the way to photo-realism are more time-consuming than the entire way that's been left behind.

Space Quest 7 will be built on the latest CryEngine and released in 2020. Also, instead of Roger Wilco, you'll be a U.S. Special Forces soldier sent to liberate a remote island from "communists." The devs learned from Crysis; there will be no aliens. It'll support RTX.
