Hello. I need for a presentation a video of the game "Grand Prix Circuit". If dosbox run the game the sound of the car is not very well you can see that in this video:

You need DivX to see the movie.

Can I something change in the confing file of dosbox so that the sound of the car is better like the rest of the gamesound?

Please excuse my bad english but that is not my language. 🤐

Hmm. I don't think there's any changes you could make in the dosbox configuraton that would help. The usual cause of sound problems is setting cycles too high, but that doesn't look like the case here. If you're using DosBox 0.63 you could try a newer CVS build. However, are you sure it's meant to sound better than that? It sounds fairly typical of a game using the PC speaker to me (which is emulated through your soundcard in dosbox).

Set your CPU Cycles higher depending on your processor's power. What is your CPU? I'd say here... If your CPU is 1.0 Ghz then set the cycles to hmmm, 7000? Or 14000 if your CPU is like around 2.0 GHz. And change the config file to: core=dynamic and cycle=(Depending on your cpu speed.)
