Also have some boards with such connectors, think its standard P8/P9. To be sure you can measure connectivity against the known pins on the ISA-bus.

Noticed P8/P9 sockets have a second row of narrow holes, matching nicely with the narrow pins...

However, to connect it that way, the P8/P9 would switch position (but keeping black wires in the middle).

These holes are for releasing the contact springs, not for connecting to anything.

Don't even try, the pins are not symmetric.

Could you please show a picture of the whole board? If it's branded, the power connector is probably custom.

The board is s Socket 4 one Daewoo branded, have no good photo of it. Need to do a good cleanup first, it is full of dust.

OPTi 82C596 (Cobra) chipset. Board is marked CPC-5200 - but have no other details about it. Would be great if I can find a manual or jumper settings for it.

That LPT1 connector has seen better days.

On using the AT P8/P9 on the XT-like power socket, it is my understanding the little fins (keys) on P8/P9 face the S-like plastic part of the XT socket.

So for my first photo, P8 is actually on the right, and P9 on the left side of XT power socket.
