ATTN: Admins/moderators.

If you could please either manually activate my 'Vaelor' account, resend the verification email, or delete the account so that my username and primary email address are freed up so I can try again, that would be hugely appreciated. Once that account works I can delete this temporary account and begin posting on VOGONS properly.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

(PS:- Apologies if this isn't the right area for support enquiries - I couldn't find a tech support email contact, web form, or designated forum support category anywhere after extensive searching!)

Hi Qbix, thanks for sorting that out so quickly for me! Sorry about the BBcode glitch - always hard to tell which BBcodes any given board does and doesn't have set allowed!

Please feel free to delete the 'Vaelor2' account if you like, as I only created it to get in touch with you about this matter. This is the account I'll be using on VOGONS henceforth.

Thanks again!

I have a problem with posting, about 1/4 of my posts disappear when I push the Submit button.
I use the quick reply, write the post and submit but sometimes it doesn't appear in the topic and I have to write and post it again even though it says my post was successful.

Edited to add more info.

I think I'm onto something: when I hit the Submit button another user's post appeared at the same time.
The topic is this:
How do you cool your retro rig?
Foil_fresh's post appeared around the same time I hit the Submit button. Is it possible that posting in the same topic at the same time causes one of the posts to fail?

I think it will display you a preview/editing box in that case, so you can update your reply to take in account the new information/post.

If that was the case the box wouldn't disappear after a few seconds.
The last time it happened the View active topics window came up after "Message posted successfully" disappeared. When I checked the topic I commented on my comment wasn't there but another user's was. I typed it again and the comment appeared. It has happened a lot before.
