When I play with Aureal A3D 2.0 selected, I experience the following issues:
Random clicking noises
Missing sounds (car acceleration) -- but other (AI) cars sound fine
Horn sounds weird -- lowering its pitch abruptly after 0.2s -- eee-uuuuuuu! when it should have same pitch (eeeeeeee!)

Tried updating to 1.1 and copying Audio from CD2 to game folder -- not fixed.

Simple A3D (1.0?) works fine.
