I know this is random,

on the TNT cards what's the (Usually) JP1 connector for, I remember looking for this when they where new but never could find out.

don't think SLI type thing was ever mentioned in the specs. no Pinouts listed anywhere. no mention of their existence. may be some one here may have an inkling?

If you're talking about a 26-pin connector (no example photos) then it's the "feature connector".

Additional cards offering features like special video decompression etc were once attached to these "feature connectors".

might be for a s-video daughter board. I have an IBM #9 TNT2 that has DVI out and a Svideo out daughter board,

hmmm, could do with one of them Daughter boards, main monitors DVI,

any pinouts?

Ok, how do you tell the difference card labelled "TNT2 64m 32mb" from a Vanta card without having to remove the heat sink? has the 26 pin feature connector header pins. so looks like a quality board, there's an MX chip in the middle of the board with solder pads around it for a larger chip.

Vanta cards only have 16MB of memory iirc. If it has "M64" somewhere on the back label it is not a Vanta.

means I landed a bargain, seller was a bit ambiguous with tnt2/vantra, and from what I've read, the Vanta's are under clocked.

now got to squeeze into a Compaq Evo d500 sff, recon it should just fit without the bracket.

The Vanta is an M64 as well. Depending on how a vendor named its card, a Vanta may be called M64, too.
