Hi I'm new to Glidos.

Followed the installation instructions but when I put the TR1 CD in Glidos doesn't recognise that there's a disc there. If I replace it with something else Glidos recognises that and asks for the game CD. However if I put it in, get the pop up screen and exit Glidos still tells me to insert the CD.

You could try editing the file c:\Program Files\Glidos\Glidos.ini, and remove the line that says CDCheck. You'll see that that line mentions a file it checks to be present. The thing that worries me is that file not being on your CD.

The file it's looking for is on the CD but removing the CDCheck line at least gets me a bit further. It now displays the dos box, screen goes black and computer restarts.

Eeek! When XP first appeared, both ATI and nVidia went through a stage of creating video drivers that would reset the computer as soon as a DOS program went into full screen mode, but that was ages ago.

What video card do you have and what drivers do you have installed?
