Greetings! I'm new here and this is my very first post on this forum. My English is not the best, I apologize, should there be any grammatical errors. This post will be a bit long, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm also not fast in replying to answers, there could be a bit of delay.

I recently got an Socket 7 Motherboard from one of my friends.
It's a PCChips M571. The revision is 3.2a.
The board is equipped with a IBM 6x86mx PR300 CPU and 2x 64MB of PC-100 SDRAM. I already tested the CPU and Ram on a different Board.
Both the RAM and the CPU are in a working condition.

I'd like to use a Dedicated Graphics Card and a Sound Card, because the onboard graphics and onboard sound are quite terrible.
Unfortunately, this board has no AGP port, which means, I can only use PCI Graphics Cards.
The only cards I own right now, is a ATI Rage XL and a Nvidia GeForce FX5200.
I'm certain, the FX5200 is probaly not supported by this board, but I'm not sure if the Rage Xl is supported.
The Sound card is a Creative Sound Blaster PCI128 CT4810.

The problem is that no PCI expansion card is detected on this motherboard, or in other words none of the PCI slots are working.
I tested both the GPU and the sound card on a different socket 7 motherboard. Both the GPU and the Sound Card are working absolutely fine.

I already did some researches and looked for people with similar problems. Sadly, I couldn't find anything related to my problem. I also cheked, if there is any option in the Bios Menu that allows you to change it from onboard to dedicated graphics. There actually is a option, however it can't be changed.
I know there is a jumper on this board, which allows you to set it from onboard to dedicated graphics too, but it also didn't work. It's the same thing with the jumper, which allows you to use a Sound Card.
Talking about jumpers. I made sure, that every jumper is set correctly.
Last but not least, I updated the BIOS to the most recent version, it did absolutely nothing..
I can't tell if there's anything wrong with my board, or if this has something to do with my own stupidety. Anyways, the Board looks fine to me.
Obviously this board is not in the best condition, but let's say, it's in a relatively decent shape.
I also got told to check the capacitors and the power supply unit, but both the Caps and the PSU are looking alright to me.
Despite the fact, that the PSU appears to work, I decided to replace it anyways, sadly nothing has changed, I still have the same problem.
Is there anything, i'm doing wrong, or is something really not right with this board?
Currently i'm out of ideas, but maybe some of you guys can tell me, what else I could try.
Shoutouts from germany and many thanks for your help (and patience).

If you need pictures, i'll make sure to add them in the next post.

Do you currently own any ISA cards and see if that works? Could be a trace issue or the PCI settings are out of spec. Remove the CMOS battery and set the jumper to clear mode and power on the system and see what happens. Could be a bad trace or the PCI IC chip. Does the system beep at all?

Unfortunately no. But i'm planning to buying one later. I'm trying to upload some picture of this board and the PCI setting tomorrow, if I don't forget it. I have now resetted the Bios, but sadly it didn't fix anything.
The board is working fine, it does a short beep if I turn the System on, but I assume this is normal.
I will check the traces soon, if I have the the tools, but right now I can't tell if any of these traces might be cut or corroded.

Check for contact goldfingers integrity in all PCI slots. It's possible that they just corroded away due to poor storage conditions.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

The contacts of the PCI slots looking fine. I couldn't see any corrosion. But maybe I missed something.
Here is one picture. I hope it's somehow useful. There will be more pictures soon, however I'm going need a different camera, for better quality.

Wilius, what about other PCI cards (network adapter, modem) ?

I tried using a PCI network card and a usb adapter card but none of these cards showed up in the device manager. I then tried to install the drivers, but they're still not detected.
It's very bizarre.

If I understand this right, my Problem has something to do with my Power Supply Unit, right?
I'm sure, my PSU's are both working. I tested them with a different Socket 7 Motherboard and I had no issues at all. Both PSU's are rated at 200w. Do you think this is too weak for my System?

I don't think that's too weak, unless you have more than 1 storage device installed each (HDDs, CD/DVD drives, floppy drives). Is the power supply an ATX or AT and is the jumper set correctly for the PSU (ATX or AT)?

It's a AT Power Supply. I checked every jumper and made sure they were set correctly. I can assure you, they are set properly, but my problem is still there. The only one, I changed, is the jumper for the Front Side Bus frequency. I increased the FSB from 66MHz to 83MHz, which is the fastest, this board can do. I know this isn't offically supported on this board, but it seems to work for me. The problem had already occured, when the FSB was still set to 66MHz. I guess the FSB isn't the issue here.
My PSU is hooked up to a hard drive, a floppy disk drive and two Optical disc drives.
Sorry, I had to edit this post several times.

Sounds to me like the PCI slots may not be getting power.

But the power rails are connected massively to many PCI pins.

Anyway it's easy to measure voltage of power rails right in a PCI slot if you have a voltmeter or a multimeter.
But PCI device isn't detected if the PCIRST# signal is active - pin A15 of PCI slot. It goes from a chipset or SIO chip.
It's better to check PCIRST# level using a voltmeter too.
And PCI POST card is very helpful for all this examination.
Wilius, inspect the motherboard carefully - it might be short circuit between PCIRST# and Ground rail or the chassis.

Have you used a POST card before? You can use something like that in the PCI slot to make sure there isn't anything out of the ordinary.

I don't have a POST card right know. But before I buy one, i'll make sure there is no short circuit or a cold solder joint.
bjwil1991, is there any particular POST card, you can recommend me?

There're a lot of them out there. I recommend getting one that has both PCI and ISA connections, allow the use of an external (or remote) 4 digit hex display, and connecting the PC speaker wire to the board for POST beep codes (if any).

Hello! I'm sorry that I let you guys wait so long. The POST card just arrived today. I've already tested this card with my Motherboard.
Here is what the display reads: 00b1.
What does it means?
