Have you ever used "LEC Quick & Easy" and/or played Sam & Max (CD-version) in Windows since you installed VDMSound by any chance?

I have the same problem, the music sounds as if its being beaten over with a stick. What is "LEC Quick & Easy"?

And no, I havent played Sam and Max before on my pc.
Do I have to config anything?

God, this is a headache...

Okay, I'm assuming you've installed VDMSound 2.04
1. Be sure to have installed Update 1 for VDMSound 2.0.4, to be on the safe side:
http://vdmsound.sourceforge.net/files/VDMSoun … 0.4.update1.zip
2. Install VDMSound Launchpad 1.0.0.7
http://vdmsound.sourceforge.net/files/VDMSLau … ad.v1.0.0.7.zip
2. Go here to get LEC Quick & Easy:
http://quick.mixnmojo.com/

But I believe what Vlad is asking is if you had installed it already. I guess not. Perhaps, if you install it and use the wrong settings, it could have the side effect you see. But it usually works okay.

Keep in mind, you could also try SCUMMVM.
See http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/

I dont think theres any way quick and easy could cause the problems he describes.
The only Full Throttle problems that I (or anyone ive been in contact with) have experienced with vdmsound is the sound being too slow and juddery. This seemed particulary prevalent on 2k, but doesnt seem to be an issue any more.

He never used Quick & Easy.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Well, maybe Quick & Easy could SOLVE his problem, by setting VDMSound to use his timing settings?

Its dead because the main LFnetwork server that hosts Mojo has been down for the past few days. Everything's been fixed and the server (and thus the Q+E site) will be back up late tonight/tomorrow.

In the game sound setup program, try setting the sound hardware to Sound Blaster (NOT 2.0, Pro, or 16!). This seems to fix the problem for myself and others.
