Does anyone with old ISA/VLB systems have any experience on how much Doom FPS benchmarks vary, depending on whether or not you have a sound card installed? I have long been wondering if it makes a significant difference or not.

Nosound 102.6 fps (100%)
SB16 95.5 fps (93%)
GUS 63.5 fps (62%)
