Not sure how many pieces left, think some went missing in shipping
I do have spare CPUs for these to make sure they are dual 😀

I hope that isn't the bed you sleep in for the night. You might forget the cases are there and break a tooth.
How many bezels are cracked or worse?

Not yet it seems, I did see your message though

That 2nd one from the right is not really repairable, minus a new bezel. If you had the broken parts that came off it, you can use some acetone and mix up some abs slurry to repair it, but you would probably have to case mod that or something if you didn't.

I also haven't tried to backup the B08 BIOS yet either. I'll have to try that on the board I haven't updated yet. Just haven't had a chance to mess with stuff lately.
@cyclone3d, I'm assuming from what you posted earlier re the bios that the included platform.bin has been configured to prevent backups during the update - what would be the best alternative flasher to use instead of PHLASH?
I just pulled the first one of these off the stack (for feipoa)
It has 32MB of RAM (2 sticks) and one CPU and 512K of cache, it POSTed fine

I'll have to look around. Will probably get to it sometime this week.
Should the POST screen look different when I have 2 CPUs installed?
It looks the same as what I posted above but then flashes:
BSP CPU Stepping(FMS) = 52c
APP CPU Stepping(FMS) = 52c
52c IS correct for the SY044 CPUs in it

That could be right. Being a phoenix BIOS it may not list dual cpu on top like an AMI or Award might of later builds.
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

yeah that's working as intended, I think you're good
Excellent, after a few repairs here and there, I have all 20 systems POSTing
All came with the same basic config (32MB of RAM and 1 CPU) but I can upgrade them with the extra parts i got

DO you think attempting to flash the BIOS could render the system non-usable? Any chance this BIOS is somehow customised to this board and that that the EISA config, which I presume is save in the RTC's NVRAM, only works with this variant of the BIOS (WLB08)?

If I see the board correctly in pics in the first pages of this thread, the BIOS appears soldered not socketed. Or am I wrong ? I would not flash the BIOS unless absolutely neccesary specially if the boards EISA config is tied to a specific BIOS. The EISA config files can be edited but would be very careful doing that... just my opinion.

I don't have any experience with EISA, so I cannot comment on it, but the BIOS looks to be a TSOP-40. Hopefully there are jumpers for recovery mode on the motherboard. Otherwise, if it gets goofed up, it would need to be desoldered have programmed externally, that is, assuming the BIOS is not in several fragments like the Intel pentium pro board was, e.g. HELP! - Dead Intel VS440FX motherboard with BIOS EEPROM overheating - SOLVED , in which case, you externally program only the boot block, then boot in recovery mode to flash the rest of the BIOS.
If all the EISA config stored in the RTC, then it seems we should do the RTC battery mod before the battery goes out completely.

The BIOS.ROM file for the v14 BIOS is 512 KB, which seems awfully large. Do these boards come with a 4 mbit EEPROM? I figured they would come with a 1-2 mbit eeprom.

I posted a req for two at cpu-world using same nym but like you here, cannot send a PM there yet.
