Hi there,

maybe this a rather stupid question but have absolutely no clue how to increase or decrease the volume in my DOS games. Is there some kind of cmd tool to change this?

Depends on the sound card. They normally all come with some mixer for DOS. So what card are you using?

In Win98 it's called Crystal SoundFusion and it's some on board sound card, no PCI or ISA.
For a second I thought I found the right tool, CWCDOS.EXE but this only seems to initialize the sound card.

If it's soundblaster compatible try a soundblaster dos mixer program like sbmix.
