Hi, vogons.
According to the AMD WikiChip the lastest
Am5x86 (Am486DX5) have low-power 3.3v version called V16BGC instead of standard 3.45v-versions (like common ADW, ADZ and W16BGC)
See 1996 doc and 1997 doc

Are low voltage version best for overclocking?

That's an interesting matter (to me at least), I asked something like that some time ago since I had 2 am5x86 (The ADZ has manufacturing date 962xxx (can't read because it's scratched) while the W16BGC has manufacturing date 9811GPB).
Most of people says it doesn't matter they are the same rev and every processor is a different story about overclock.
That being said I recently discovered a user who were selling the latest batc of pentium 233 mmx and most of them were easily overclocked to 300 mhz, so I still think that a later revision or manufacturing date, should be better.

Apparently someone there can not read data sheets. There is no separate low-power version.

V = 3.3V +/- 0.3V
W = 3.45V +/- 0.15V

The difference is voltage-tolerance. When the voltage-tolerance is higher, the minimum voltage required is lower (obviously). In both cases, the CPU can be run at max. 3.6V. Unlike what people tell, you can not make any guesses on how good a CPU overclocks based on any of it's properties. For me, ADW always overclocked best. The only ADZ I owned was nailed at 133 MHz and didn't do any higher.
