Hi everyone,

since I can't find any information online on this card, I resorted to asking someone here. I am looking for drives, but the problem is, I can't even identify the card.

If anybody here recognises the bloody card, it would be perfect.

Thanks a lot.

Read this and post your settings here 😉
ISA XMS/EMS Memory Extension / Expansion cards: Now Running without Driver / Documentation :-)

Your card seems to very easy, only 6 DIPs.

You need to buy some RAM first of course 😉

Thanks mate,
I'm going to check it out. I already tried all possible combinations (with memory installed), but BIOS didn't detect anything. I've got another EMS card which needs drivers to work, so I assumed, this is the same case.

Cheers.

BIOS may or may not detect anything. You might need to run one of the memory mapper apps in DOS and see if it can find the (presumably) 64kb page window.

You'll also need to actually put RAM into the card, presumably at BANK 0.

I'll test it again with the memory mapper program, then.

I actually did put RAM into the card, that's why I wrote "with memory installed" 😀

Most of those cards use a driver like the orig IBM addon mem cards. XMA2EMS type driver or equal. They typically only work in 8086 or 286 boards.
Sorry not much help...

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I dont think this card supports EMS. Its XMS only. Not enough DIPs to configure EMS 😉

No drivers needed except maybe himem.sys

No surprise your BIOS didnt detect anything. You need to configure the correct starting adress. Follow the procedure I linked. Follow-up there and I will be happy to support you 😉 Post a picture of your card with some RAM on bank0 installed and the output of testx.exe.
