hello this is the vrm of my mobo. i just wanna ask if a slocket with a coppermine cpu is gona be compatible.

Is that a QDI BrillianX or similar?

The VRM supports voltage identifier pins from 1.3 to 3.5 volts so you should be good.

There is probably a late 99 BIOS which will identify coppermines properly. What is the BIOS ID string?

Ah, the VIA option. The 1.6 BIOS seems to be the latest but doesn't mention CPU micro code updates. Maybe the motherboard wont recognize the coppermines probably.

The VRM supports the lower voltage options though.

I would install a coppermine processor and measure the core voltage with a multimeter just to be sure.
