Hello!
Hi. I have an IBM 5151 monitor connected to an IBM 6150. When the system starts, the image looks in triplicate:

But when you load the RAM, the image is fixed. I think it's because of the DCMON.COM command that is at the start of the autoexec.bat

I tried to connect the monitor to an Amstrad PPC 512, but I have the same problem. I have played with the switches, and with modes 80 and 90, but no result. And the DCMON.COM freezes the equipment.

Any ideas?
Thank you 😊

I know nothing about the 6150 series but the 5151 monitor is for MDA and that card is rather unusual - it has 50Hz vertical refresh rate. So my guess is you are just not getting a lock, and frankly not many computers out there would output 50Hz signal to a monitor (PAL TVs are another story).

Maybe you are right. On both computers the image flickers, but when DCMON.COM is activated, the image has an amazing sharpness in IBM.

Hi, this image doesn't display because you have linked an empty album on Google Photos.

In the future, feel free to attach the photos at VOGONS or Imgur and the like.

If you really want to use Google Photos, see here for my procedure for posting from Google Photos:
