I would recommend some cooling for the voodoo 2 cards for longevity. I did personally leave an empty slot between them and bought a noctua case fan that I did put to the front of the case blowing air towards the cards and it definitely made the chips on the cards much cooler.

Great rig overall though! Love the Voodoo cards + Matrox combo in particular. Razor sharp 2D image and the best 3D graphics at the time.

Yeah we figured out that the 486 never stand a Chance against Pentium playing over Nullmodem.
Some In-Game Things where always faster on the Pentium.

That blue part on the Case just kills me. Does it get any more "90s" than that?
Kudos on keeping the RAM amount real.
Sound card mainly boils down to personal taste and focus of software. An early SB live would be period correct and provide modern effects in later game. Maybe combined with an ISA or external MIDI.
Or you could mess around with PCI cards that connect to J1 on the Mobo, aka "SB-link connector".

Back in the days, I considered the whole "Slot" path as utter BS and went from P1 over SS7 to socket A.

If ony those Voodoos had not become so darn expensive...
