Wasn't sure where to post this, but since it's mostly about game music I'll just drop this here.

I guess the visitors to this forum might like the antics on my YT channel: I'm uploading soundtracks from various DOS games. Of course a lot of other people have done so in the past, but I'm trying to always post the full track list (often I find tracks missing in other YT video's). Next to that I'm recording it all on real hardware (no dosbox or emulation), trying to get the highest quality sound standard the game would allow. Like this full score to Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri!

I've also got a special series called SoundBattles, where I pitch various sound options against eachother. Like this OPL vs MT-32 vs SC-88 battle on Dune II.

My recording computer (Pentium 233MMX) currently has the following audio devices setup:
-Creative Soundblaster 16 (CT2770)
-Gravis Ultrasound (Primax AltraSound Soundstorm Wave)
-Roland MT32 (Old 1987 ROM)
-Roland MT100 (with a new MT-32 1988 ROM)
-Roland SC-88 (also SC-55 compatible)
- Korg 05R/W

I'm always on the look-out for more old soundcards and MIDI modules, so there might be more in the future. I mostly upload whatever I'm currently playing, so there is no regular update schedule in place. If you got any request or suggestions for games I should record on a specific type of hardware, let me know! 😀
