I need the demo version and I can't find it anywhere.

I am bumping this thread, because I still couldn't find it. I can easily find the full pirated copy, but I want the demo. Google searches are basically useless because "thing" is such a common word.
What are some good sites with old game demos, so I could focus there ?
It can help to use quotes in a search, "the thing".
Before the renovation, Fileplanet was useful. Currently I see the patches pages have been brought forward, but nothing about a demo. Was there a demo for this game, other than bundled?
Just checked archive.org, and no luck there either.
I'm only seeing references to a PlayStation 2 demo disk release.

I guess it is possible a demo never existed, but I could swear I played it when I was a kid.
I went through 50 pages on Fileplanet Survival game section and it wasn't there, but there are demos for even older games like Nocturne (as well as several nude mods for that game, 🤣).
I also couldn't find anything on archive.org.
Don't despair. I was in a similar situation once. I was looking for an Animaniacs demo game, but almost all links/references on the web were gone.

I don't think there was a demo either.

It's possible there was no general-issue demo, while there still could have been one that was bundled with a videocard, or a magazine.
And of course it's possible your brain is playing games with you, instead of the other way round.
I should have been smarter in this search. Instead of looking for the demo I now looked for the developer on archive.org and on their website in 2002/2003 there is no mention of a playable demo in the download section. There are patches, gameplay trailers and other stuff, but no demo. I guess I remembered it wrong. They did release a demo for their previous game Evolva.
