So my shuttle board has a blown ps2 header, no current on the 5v, I'm guessing someone hooked it up backwards. This leaves me without ps2 and having to run a separate mouse for my k6-3 as the KVM doesn't support ps2 to USB adapters. So it leaves me wondering did anyone make an io card that has ps2 on it for ps2 nice, I'd like dos support and I could go serial but then I'm dealing with ball nice which I despise.

Someone here made an ISA board that presents a PS/2 card as a COM port to the PC which could be used.
Another PS/2 Mouse ISA (ISA8) card adapter

Does that motherboard have a fuse for PS/2 headers? It might have blown up. You could also manually wire 5V from another source if there is no voltage present on the connector itself.

Could you splice a ps2 extension cable and solder a 5v usb adapter to +5v and ground? Make sure to leave +5v to the computer disconnected to leave it isolated. Ground needs to be connected to both.

I don't trust my soldering skills enough honestly
