Since the number of mb identifying topics has spiked recently, I've decided to solve my own collection mysteries as well.

In the photos below I have two motherboards I received a while ago, a 286 and a 386.

The 286 is missing both BIOS chips, but there is a string on the PCB saying KT212WB5/HI, nothing else on the backside.
The 386 has a string printed on the back side saying 386ADIII and it's one of the many Taiwanese clones.

I'm interested to find the jumper settings for these boards (especially for the 386, which runs but gives cache memory config errors).
What BIOS images would be suitabe for the 286 motheboard? (Winbond chipset)

Hi,
Can't help you much about identifying the boards, but here's the BIOS from one of my unidentified boards, KT216WB5, that uses the same chipset.
(I also have a KT216HT1 with a Headland chipset, I wonder if KT somehow stands for KT Computers? Don't know much about them, but my first "real PC" that I got back in '96 was branded KT Computers).

More wow. Restart under slightly different name and it's gone again.

No sign of any domain names. I'll try a few and see where that gets me...

By the looks of it, I don't think they made any serious PC hardware since the 90s, they probably used the company's identity for someting else up until 2019.

The 386 on TH99 doesn't seem to match my board, despite its similar name.

Yes, it is!

I haven't been able to make it POST yet, the BIOS images I tried so far did not work (kept getting VGA adapter errors).
If you can share the BIOS images from that board, I would appreciate it.

I have the W216KWB5 motherboard, which is very similar, it works very well with 1MB but 4MB is unstable with XMS and EMS, although the SIPP RAM is correct, I have tried several memory managers, jumpers, it does not pass the xms memory tests, the application crashes and hangs.
