It's in the motherboard manual, page 39 shows the BIOS screen and page 42 has the description:

I meant the chipset BIOS specification which describes how the BIOS should work with the chipset 😉 But I have a fix for this now..

A few tests I have done on a couple of my machines, Celeron Mendocino 466, ASUS CUSL2, 3DFX Voodoo banshee, ME. And again the cyrix MII using first the on motherboard SiS 6326 Rev C3 AGP and then a PCI 6326 Rev Ho, Revisions on the 6326 are a pretty big deal if you care about such things(really do make the difference between play and not play, slideshow or fine), so would be great if you could determine those accurately .

Sorry no, all I have is the card, picture in my thread 2nd post(Re: Games to play on a socket 7 machine with SiS 6326 graphics.), info is kinda limited on these low end items I find, got another 6326 also, just dropped off to me by a buddy, do you want the report file from that one too? pic of that is post 16 on above thread, literally just installed it and seeing what it is all about, I think it might be a pine tech card?

A report of the other card would be interesting just to see the PCI revision. I assume 0Bh is H0, that was the Palit card at least.

Not sure calling it that is gonna be a good idea, despite the chip being 6326 AGP, both these cards are PCI! Weird world is the low end VGA card of the 90's!

Do you know of any way of reading the clock speed of the actually 6326 itself? I'm curious as to that between these 3 chips.

I'm not aware of any software method. Such early cards often didn't feature registers that could read/set the chip clock. It was often hard-wired from the XTAL via some semi-fixed PLLs. Usually only memory clock was configurable so that particular vendors could use different chips.

Thanks chap, I suspected it'd be something along those lines or you'd have done it ages ago! Anyhow be neat to have the correct revisions reported on the 6326 in future in case any other idiot like me decides to actually try to play games on the thing in the future!

What font is HWiNFO using? I've just ran it on a vanilla Windows 95 installation and HWiNFO uses the default "Fixedsys", so I don't have it installed.

Would it be possible to fallback to MS Sans Serif if Tahoma is missing (MS added it to Windows 98)? It should look better then Fixedsys.

Not so trivial I'm afraid. The issue is also not just the missing fonts, but vanilla Win95 is missing also other more advanced GUI elements. I think that best is to install IE4.

Thanks! Unfortunately the PR cannot be precisely determined as the CPU doesn't tell this nor what its limits are. So we can report this only based on actual clock. I will check how can I improve this.

Another 775 bug, this time it's the voltage readings on a EVGA 790i Ultra SLI motherboard.

Real voltages of the PSU are around 11.9v, 5.15v, 3.42v.

I tried running HWINFO32 on my newly built Pentium 3 machine and it seems my GA-6VX7-4X board may not support it very well, the moment I view sensors the entire computer completely shuts off. Not sure what to do about that.

Please enable Debug Mode, run it and after the shutdown and reboot grab the HWiNFO32.DBG file that was produced. I need to analyze it and see how to fix.
