If all else fails, you could install it in a VM and then port it over.

As teleguy said, you can use the 32 bit IS to see if that worked. But I am very suspicious it won't. carmageddon 2 had such limitation too where you cannot play it without Windows 9x

Independence Day works fine on Windows 10 (so does Carmageddon 2 btw) so it's probably possible to get it working on Windows 7.

That game won't run until you use the WinXP patch, so similarly Independence Day must detect your Os as windoes 9x. But if You are Getting it to work , it must be an updated version.

Ok, I was able to install using version 3 of 32 bits installer. Thank you very much!
