It won't boot. No post no beep no nothing. I tried all the usual troubleshooting then I discovered a dreaded varta nimh battery that leaked. Is this mobo a goner?
It could well be recoverable after removing the battery, carefully cleaning the affected area with vinegar then ipa and maybe some demineralised water.
There's a glitch in the matrix.

Even if it could be repaired it would look like shit. You have to remove every affected chip, rewire at least 30 traces and put SMDs back.
In the end it would look like this but with 20 more wires and you wouldn't want it anywhere near you.
