Giants: Citizen Kabuto (Initial unpatched 2000 release only has a DirectX7 renderer, works on 7 and supports hor+ widescreen as well as modern high resolutions. It's the prime example for a list like this (and this was a game considered unstable upon release))

I just installed Windows 10 2004 and found that my main PC doesnt run NFSSE on this PC, but did on my others. SO it means it must be a driver issue for my hardware, because the same hardware worked with VMware driver to run the game.

ps: i dont think Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a pre dx8 game (released 2001)

For Descent 3, set color compatibility to 16 bit.
