I few days ago, I posted in Most powerful ATI / Geforce GPUs possible for a Win 98SE Tualatin gaming build - socket 370, AGP 2x/4x , specifically in response to Re: Most powerful ATI / Geforce GPUs possible for a Win 98SE Tualatin gaming build - socket 370, AGP 2x/4x .

The essence of that post was that the Geforce FX 5200 was not that great a card when new and I actually used a 4-letter synonym for excrement (starting with the letter t) to qualify it (I suspect this might have been problematic). I then described some of its (the FX 5200's) practical retro uses (getting the best performance out of a Tualatin not being one of them ) .

That post seems to have vanished . Which leaves me with the following questions :

a) Did a bug occur on the forum ?
b) Did I accidentally delete it ?
c) Did a moderator delete it ?
d) If the answer to c is yes, did I do something wrong (I did not receive a PM or any notification if I did) ?

If I did do something wrong, I apologize for it and would definitely like to know what line I crossed (or confirm my suspicion regarding the use of the aforementioned word) in order for me to avoid repeating the same error(s) .

There is nothing in the logs. Just repost what you previously posted. No one is going to delete a post because of a word. Unless it's a post that just contains that word.

Thank you very much for checking . I may well be that I simply forgot to click "Submit" in that case . As what was worth saying about the FX 5200 in that context was already mentioned by others in that thread, I will just leave it be .

It's possible to 'post' your way to a preview when someone beats you to replying, then habitually moving on afterward, that's my guess. There is no FX5200 defense conspiracy here.

You are right . An FX 5200 is not worth any drama .
