I use DosBox on an HP notebook. So, my keyboard is not as big as a classical one. Therefore, I cannot stop an MS Dos program from executing.

How to stop a Turbo Basic program from running and to proceed with editing the program? So, I want to exit from Edit field in order to save the program, for example, or perform another tasks.

What is a combination of keys to stop or pause the program? Ctrl+Break option is out of the question, because there is no Break key.

For interpreted BASICs you can probably use the Ctrl+ScrollLock combo, but for compiled BASICs there may not be such a default stop mechanism and the program needs to be coded to terminate when it sees that certain keys are pressed.

Control-C or Control-Z also sometimes cause a break of program flow.
