I got Flash traffic on cd and can't make it work on dosbox. any help would be great. I tried all cd configs
motherboard: intel
processor type: pentium 4-speed:1.60 GHz
video board:unknown
sound board:intel
op. system: xp home sp2
game name: Flash Traffic City of angels
problem: the game cannot find the disk
Always
sound mode: unknown
video unknown
version dosbox .65
all cd steps in readme

Please, write down all exact commands used in DOSBox.

mount c c:\flash
Mount d d:\ -t cdrom
mount d D:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0
mount d d:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl

Does the folder "flash" exist on C. If not, you must create it using Windows explorer. I think you need to install game first, too.

You only need one line for mounting the CD-ROM drive.

mount c c:\flash

mount d d:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl

If it still doesn't recognize the CD, you can provide a valid label using the -label <label> parameter.

E.G. mount d d:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl -label FLASH

it did not work.
FYI it is a full video mpeg game if that is any help

Hmmm, I'm afraid I only have the VGA version and not the MPEG version, but it worksfine with DosBox.

I have a c:\dosbox folder in my computer which I mount on DosBox like so: mount c c:\dosbox
I also made a CD image of the file, mounted it with Daemon tools and then mounted it in DosBox like so:
mount d H:\ -t cdrom (H: is my virtual drive).

After that install, setup and play went smooth.

I got the game running in xp alone but the movie runs faster than the sound. help

I used D-Fend to make the game work in dosbox
