For some reason I can't get Turok 2 to play the audio from the CD. I've even tried to create an image and see if Daemon Tools could force it to work, but no success with neither analog nor digital methods. 😒

I don't really understand, what could be holding it from reading the disc? Its just supposed to read the tracks and play them. They work if I play them manually.

Yep, your right. For some reason I though Turok 2 had a software mode but I just checked and it only has D3D and Glide.

I've chedked around it appears to be a common issue with Turok 2 + XP. Seems some people found its playable using console commands -

CDOPEN (drive letter)
CDPLAY (track number)

That doesn't really help, considering I'd have to manually change and restart tracks. 🙁 There must be a reason why it doesn't work. I tried compatibility modes too but it just won't play them automatically.

I suppose you have already checked for patches for this game.
