It's a interesting project (just wish I had a GUS to be able to use on) I'm not a mod but assume if went with a similar approach as the dreamblaster linking to somewhere external it would be ok?

Its a grey zone when it comes to "homebrew" projects as we've allowed them to exist in the past (and current).
As chinny22 said, VOGONS is no marketplace. So you cannot handle the sales process directly here on VOGONS. Most other projects, like Serda's have an external website to do that (I've seen Google Forms and email also being used).
If you open a thread and present it as a project that will be fine even if you if say where to acquire it. What differs here is that you've already made the product while others make the threads when they start the design phase to get input and feedback from other users. Its imperative you don't just present it as a sale advertisement, but include more information regarding the creation/design process so other users can take some participation.
This is subject to change at any notice if the mod team decide to set better guidelines on homebrew projects.

Just out of interest - if the GUS PnP can handle 16MB via this adapter, surely it can also handle 16MB 30p SIMMs?
yes and no. 😀 SIMM30 module maximum sizes are 4Mb and the GUS PNP card has two from that. Maybe the ram extender card can works with four pieces SIMM30 sockets! (but better the SIMM72 alone)
It shouldn't take much effort to conjure up the missing address line to get 16MB 30pin SIMMs to work, but it won't be a plug in solution but something requiring an actual modification...

I have four 16MB 30p SIMMs here that beg to differ with that statement. Or do you mean that larger SIMMs may exist but the GUS PnP can't handle them?
exactly. at the time these were manufactured, it did not yet exist 16mb types.
