Not possible. Though if the card only uses I/O-ports (no interrupt/memory/DMA) Dosbox could be modified to access them. Like in my parallel port passthrough patch. But Dosbox in not a real time operating system and you'll have to find somebody to do the modification.

I have taken over from Sheltem, i ran the diagnostic build and DOSBox Status Window came up with the following:

Ser1: RTS off
Ser1: DTR off
Ser1: RTS on
Ser1: DTR on

these 4 lines were repeated numerous times (approx 10) before the actual timeout occured

That's less than I hoped for... I think I'll bring up another one...
