UDPATE: When I saw my old ISP email still working today, so I seized the opportunity to try that with father's account and finally straightened it out and now he is on new longer password and new email address set up for both steam and his blizzard game as well. Remember he spent a fortune on games and we are anxious not to lose that motherlode. Father does not like long, complicated password but I had to force this point on him to accept that.

I and my father play steam games and only difference is all his steam purchases is through my paypal adds more layers of difficulties. I finally made my point and he will no longer use mine anymore for purchases.

Steam will not accept my paypal account (says cannot be verified) holder when we try to switch father's email to current Bell ISP. Father's did kept his gift card and I took a picture of it and added it. We even tried three browsers, edge, chrome (cannot be used due to steam seen it as new and challenged us that we could not answer)., and firefox.

Main issue is this recaptcha code we get on father gmail email address is received in order to change email address yet but the steam could not verify the recaptcha code even we carefully typed it in. That close to changing the email address.

I also forgot to adjust my email too but I had ease of changing mine since I hold my paypal account made the difference, and made my steam purchases made this process easier and already changed email address to current address for mine without being challenged much but not for my father's.

As this stands, he is unable to play any games because of this even blizzard's.

Is there a way to contact steam by phone or contact steam directly? (Couldn't find one).

Remember any verifications sent by email goes to the father's old email address that he no longer access anymore. Catch22.
