🤣, great description 😀

I would have bought them all if cheap enough, you can never have too many CPUs if bought below eBay prices 😀 I have boxes full, well over 1500 here.

CMI8338 pci soundcard with spdif and great dos support under 98. Tried it with a bunch of dos games and sounded pretty damn good.

AthlonXP is too mainstream for hipsters. Real hipsters buy Geode NX1500s and overclock them - it’s like buying a Volvo 240 wagon and putting a turbo in it.

@easy_john i have question. Can you contact me privately? nikosyr(at)gmail.com

Very nice! Does it feature wav playback too in DOS or is it midi only?
I had this card in the 90ies but I remember being too stupid too get that it was really nice, compared to the Mozart I owned, and gave it away later on. I also noticed a delay during wav playback in windows...

Playing the retro hardware lottery again and bought one of these again -

I bought a Commodore Plus/4 a couple of weeks back, supposedly working, but alas it was dead with the famous black screen. I have no spare parts for the C16 or Plus/4, so any repairs would have ended up costing me more money on top of what I paid and so it got returned to the seller.

The one I just bought has been demonstrated working and also comes with a bunch of games which is a plus... 😉 Though I have an SD2IEC that I use on both my VIC-20 & C64, so that will be getting the most use on this Plus/4.

Fingers crossed this is all ok as it appears, these things are getting harder to find in working condition and a ticking time bomb even when they are, due to dodgy CPUs and several failure prone chips. I know at some point in the future I'll at least have to get a replacement CPU (6510 + adapter & custom ROM probably). Might even keep my eyes out for an affordable working spare TED chip too.

@nikosyr, how much was that card? I've seen the RAP-10 for sale on eBay for a price of 1/2 of the exhaust for my car ($300 USD).

Apparently you didn't see the original asking price which was 2 or 3 listings ago. I think the seller started off asking $1200 for it.

Here: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/with … book/mwbook.pdf - it may be helpful, although it may not contain the information about this particular monitor if it came as an element of larger system and was never sold separately. It may be then identified only by it's P/N which is 85H0764.

Looks like a POS system monitor to me...is it monochrome?

10" color, definitely not a Piece Of S... if you ask me (but yeah, perhaps some point of sale stuff) 😉))

are you sure it's color? because I think I have the same one and that's VGA but still monochrome.

Google points to a few sites that say it's colour

Todays find - SB 2.0 combined with IDE and floppy controller. Pretty rare card i guess?
Unfortunately it has no sockets for CMS chips 🙁

Nice find. I'm wondering where Avid used these cards. This one doesn't look like cards for video production, what Avid normally does.

Avid built complete system for video production. I guess it comes from one of these. Also it's cleary made by Creative Labs (even the typography seems familiar).

Yup, it's a color screen. Max resolution 800x600. Now to find an exact model if possible 😀

Some i already got but because of the overwhelming amount before I forgot about...
IBM 760ED missing powersupply... I can't seem to find a replacement. Proprietary 4 pin thing.

2x GA-60MM7E socket 370 boards with cooler and 1000mhz/133mhz PIII in each.

GA-6BX7 socket 370 board with 800mhz PIII
If I can get it to work with the VIA C3 nehemiah it is a contender for my all in one build 😁 can clock to 150mhz fsb. Don't know if it has the correct agp divider at 133 tho.
