I'm trying to run Scorched Earth 15 in DosBox .74-3 on PCLinuxOS. I wrote a post in the PCLinuxOS forums.
Here is a link: https://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/top … s304#msg1322630

As of today (11/25/20) they have no idea why it isn't working correctly.

In the past I got this working on Linux Mint 18.3, Xubuntu 18.04. Xubuntu 20.04, and MX Linux 19.2.

These are two videos I made for youtube.
You can hear the problem.

However on Linux Mint 18.3 it seems to run a little better.

The reason why I'm asking you, is because I've spent several hours trying to figure this out, and I don't know what else to try...

If you want me to provide a video, I could take the time to make one... Or you can just take my word for it. Doesn't matter to me. For now it's just easy for me to write.

I booted into PCLinuxOS to test the onboard audio in relation to DosBox running Scorched Earth 15. To my surprise the onboard audio worked great! So I decided to try the HDMI audio again. Currently they are both working great. We all know that rebooting fixes many problems. But in this case I saw no reason for rebooting. It seems that I was wrong. After installing DosBox it appears it is a good idea to reboot the PC before trying any of your games.
