ok sorry i have
A ibook g3 800mhz
384megs. of ram
am trying to run daggerfall on version .65
have core set to simple, have tryed normal full and dynamic but simple works the best, frameskip set to 20000 wich seems to work the best, and output set to opengl which works the best for me
why did you move it to macintosh? isnt it for emulationg macs?
Oh your first posting didn't hint at you using dosbox.
And for the next time, please try to state your actual problem and what
you already tried PRECISELY, not just "xy doesn't run, i tried cycles",
that's quite useless.
ok i did can sowme one please help now. I payed 100 bucks for daggerfall and it barely runs
I have editted your post title.
I will have to move it again to the right section I am afraid.

Give up. You will not be able to run Daggerfall at a playable speed on that computer. I doubt even VPC would run it adequately on that machine.
A G3 800mhz is simply too slow for playing Daggerfall in DOSBox.
Then can someone tell me how, or give me a working compile of dosbox to make it run a little better?

Sure - go on Ebay and get youself a cheap Pentium PC, a SoundBlaster AWE32, use DOS 6.22 and you are set... On the Mac Dosbox emulation side, give it up. If Dosbox was hand-coded in assembler for your Mac g3 iBook - it still would not be fast enough to run Daggerfall.
If you paid $100 for Daggerfall then spending a bit more for some old DOS hardware would be the way to go...
Best of luck,

Ohh well, im getting a new computer for christmas. Ill just have to wait
