Been looking for the best way to play Heroes 6 (with all the expansions) on PC, but my experience with the game previously has been a buggy mess. I am talking many years ago, but recently I've read that the game doesn't play nice with Windows 10 either. Black screens, refusing to save etc.

It's a Uplay title, and it's on STEAM. Sadly it hasn't been released via GOG. My question is, with modern hardware on Windows 10, does anyone have the game working properly? If so - what is the best way to purchase it and are there any settings / compatibilty measures to take in order to run the game?

Just looking to clarify I ain't thowing away time or money before buying the game.
