Thanks, I've ordered a few of these cards and will report results of any experiments here.

"This all reminds me when i took the windows vista sticker thingy off my old laptop, and on my washing machine as a joke. A few days later said washing machine stopped working. I still think this cannot be a coincidence."

And still when configuring enterprise networking equipment... OK yeah they have USB interfaces too, but that's just a USB-Serial interface.
