Dosbox V .57

I am running the program off CD. The mouse is not operational in dosbox. I've tried running it in win 9x compatabilities (both dosbox and the startrek.exe), I've run setup, I've tried different versions of the driver. I've scanned the forums, the wiki, and the beginer's guides and have not found the solution to this particular problem The mouse just will not move in-game, everything else seems fine.

I cannot run vdms without messing with my bios setting and onboard ethernet, I think, because it constantly comes up with a 0k ems memory error, and I'd rather avoid getting into that if possible.

dosbox works fine with kings quest V mouse controls. I am running that off the Hard drive. Everytime i try and install ST25 to the HD I get an unsupported feature error.

Does anyone have suggestions as to how to get this working?
