Hi, I am very interested in the OPL3 Creative Music Synthesizer MIDI, but don't have any desktops that support ISA. I was wondering if I could request a FLAC or WAV audio rip of a Sound Blaster AWE64 using the Creative Music Synthesizer to play this MIDI file from Windows 3.0 with Multimedia Extensions called DREAMY.MID. It also doesn't matter the type of AWE64 card. To make things easier, I'll add a link to the MIDI file. Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ndIOxby1_SIe … iew?usp=sharing
You can find it here, recorded off my AWE64D. 😀
Hi, I like the recording you did and thank you very much for it, but I have a few questions. Was the MIDI recorded with the Creative Music Synthesizer/Creative Stereo Music Synthesizer in Windows 95/98, or did you use another MIDI Synthesizer or another OS? Does the card come with the Creative Music Synthesizer/Creative Stereo Music Synthesizer? If it doesn't, then is there another Yamaha OPL3 type MIDI Synthesizer? I am just asking because the MIDI Synthesizer doesn't sound like the Creative Music Synthesizer/Creative Stereo Music Synthesizer commonly found in the Sound Blaster 16/AWE 32. Another coincidence is I had purchased a AOpen AW744L PCI sound card with a Yamaha OPL3 chip and FM synthesis, but it didn't sound like the Creative Music Synthesizer/Creative Stereo Music Synthesizer. But in no way am I saying I don't like the recording or effort put in the recording, as I do.
