Not those 1 strand wrapping wiring but I like the thickness.

Need to wire up a parity 4MB x 36 72 pin memory module into Kingston memory board card for Compaq 386 25e, which I can do that, reason for this, the 1MB section using 256K chips is failing (will take it out first).

Reason: due to lack of finding 36x 1M x 1 bit 80ns or 70ns DIP 18 pin chips currently.

wire from an old broken transformer ?
I know you can buy it on spools as well but the name eludes me atm.

28awg stranded = cut up an old 40 conductor IDE cable

30awg solid = cut up a less old 80 conductor IDE cable

Stranded is more flexible and I'll be moving project around several times before final install since half the wirings will go under the memory module to reach other locations.

Ordered 30awg wire 8 color kit 5ft each. About 28 cdn from USA seller. Not chinese guys as I'm getting more issues over time.
