just fired up Space Crusade myself - launch the game and hit Ctrl+F10, that should capture the mouse cursor. Autolocking doesn't work with the game, as it seems.

And because the topic is already about the game, anyone know how to configure the sound card? I see some sound drivers sitting around in the game's directory like MT32, so I wonder how to use them... since I own a real MT32, I'd love to put it to use.

Edit: Ha, just found out. Delete the old space.cfg file, and it will prompt for config on next launch. Yay! Now I just need to prevent the buffer on the MT32 from overflowing...

start the game at very low cycles until the mt32 initialisation is complete.

I wish all games would slow down transfer to the MT32 like Dune 2 does, sometimes it's a pain in the rear and need setting the cycles as low as about 15... talk about endless loading times 😉

well it is partly a bug in DOSBox as well.
DOSBox allows sending of the init commands at a lightning fast speed.

I'd love to see a "fix" for that one day... 😉
But I guess there's more important stuff to do.
