S3 Win 3.1 drivers

Hi,

I'm trying to get Windows 3.1 running under DosBox. Everything went well except for the video drivers.

I installed the 1.41B5 drivers but now DosBox crashes when I try to start Windows (I'm using win.com /b, as mentioned in the win3.1 guide).

I'm trying both 800x600x256colors SF and 800x600x256colors LF. DosBox crashes in both scenarios...

One more issue I'm having : I installed win32s, but Windows 3.1 crashes when I try to start the FreeCell game. The installer mentioned I had to start SHARE.EXE. Is this still required in DosBox ?

Oh yeah, I'm using the latest stable release (0.65).

Win32s doesn't work.

well, Freecell works for me with the 0.65 release and of course with CVS, so I assume Win32s works somehow. But yes the installer crashes on the Freecell part on DOSBox 0.65, but CVS works fine.
Btw, the guide on installing and running Windows 3x is at Windows 3.1x DOSBox Guide and does NOT say you need to start Windows with the command "win.com /b".
Did you take the S3 drivers from this guide?
